Ørstedsparken

Along the line of the old fortifications that protected Copenhagen up until the 1850s, you will now find a row of green parks. All of them have lakes which are remnants of the fortification moat. The Ørstedparken is one of them - named after the Danish physicist who discovered electromagnetism: Hans Christian Oersted. There are two immensely popular playgrounds in the park.
