Georg Jensen Damask was founded back in 1756. The firm combines 250 years of weaving tradition with modern design in the best possible way. The shop, located on a side-street to the Pedestrian Mall, Strøget, carries the full range of their own products: table-cloths, bed-linnen, towels, kimonos, tea-towels... Georg Jensen Damask is purveyor to the Royal Court. When Her Majesty and the Prince Consort celebrated their silver wedding anniversary in 1992, new table-cloths for the banqueting-table were orded. Queen Margrethe designed the pattern for the so-called Crown Table-cloth, whicn in turn was woven on a special 280cm wide loom.
